TOTS (Time Out Together) - Parents group
This is a unique group of parents that is a multi-congregational support group for parents, sponsored by First Christian Church and Grace & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Originally a MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) group, we created our own version of a group to include stay-at-home dads, grandmas and parents of all elementary aged kids, as well as moms of little ones.
We meet twice a month. The first Thursday of each month, we meet from 9:30-11:30a.m. Complimentary childcare is provided. We share brunch and time together. Our meeting topics vary from Bible Study and Devotional time to crafts and guest speakers.
We also meet every third Wednesday of the month for an evening potluck at 6:00pm. We started this recently to reach out to moms and dads who work outside the home, but would like to be a part of our group.
This year all of our meetings will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, located at
601 North Tejon Street. That is just one block east and four blocks north of FCC. Come to the handicapped entrance on the northwest side of the building.
